Mindful Mission LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the LIFE Alignment mobile application and the website at mindfulmissionllc.com (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have.
By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and a display name you provide. We use Firebase Authentication (Google) to manage sign-in.
Profile and coaching data. The app invites you to enter personal growth information including your life vision, core values, roles, goals, and habits. This data is stored in your Firestore account document and is used to personalize your coaching experience.
Diagnostic data. If you complete the LIFE Alignment Diagnostic, your responses and the resulting alignment pattern are stored in your account and used to tailor AI coaching sessions.
Journal entries. Text you write in the journal feature is stored in your Firestore account document and is not shared with third parties.
Usage data. We collect anonymous usage analytics (screen views, feature interactions) via Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used and improve it. This data does not identify you personally.
Device information. We may collect basic device information (operating system version, device type) for debugging and crash reporting purposes.
The LIFE Alignment app uses AI coaching features powered by OpenAI's API. When you send a message to a coach within the app, your message and a context summary of your profile data are sent to OpenAI for processing. OpenAI's use of this data is governed by OpenAI's Privacy Policy. We do not use your coaching conversations to train AI models.
Your data is stored using Google Firebase (Firestore), a cloud database service operated by Google. Data is encrypted in transit using TLS and at rest using Google's standard encryption. We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information.
No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the following service providers as necessary to operate the Service:

Subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store or Google Play. We do not store or have access to your payment card information. Billing is governed by Apple's and Google's respective terms of service. Subscription management is handled by RevenueCat.

The Service is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal data is deleted from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
The Service may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites and encourage you to review their privacy policies.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the effective date at the top of this page or by sending a notification through the app. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
